Juventus Parts Ways with Head Coach Igor Tudor
Juventus has dismissed head coach Igor Tudor after a winless streak of eight games across all competitions. Massimo Brambilla will temporarily manage the first team. Despite leading Juventus to a fourth-place finish last season, Tudor's recent performances led to this decision.
In a significant shake-up, Juventus announced on Monday the dismissal of head coach Igor Tudor following an eight-match winless streak. The Croatian, appointed in March, is succeeded temporarily by reserve team coach Massimo Brambilla.
Tudor, who succeeded Thiago Motta, initially led Juventus to a commendable fourth-place finish, securing Champions League qualification. However, a dismal series of draws and losses, including defeats to Como, Real Madrid, and Lazio, prompted the club's decision.
Juventus, currently eighth in Serie A, is struggling offensively, having failed to score in four consecutive matches. As they prepare to host Udinese, the club expressed gratitude to Tudor and his staff for their professionalism and wished them success in future endeavors.
