Pune Gears Up for India's First UCI Road Race
The inaugural Pune Grand Tour, India's first UCI 2.2 Road Race, will run from January 19-23. India will host two teams, with selection trials starting in December. This event aims to secure a permanent spot in the UCI calendar, featuring top international cyclists on Pune's scenic 437-km routes.

The inaugural edition of the Pune Grand Tour, India's first Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) 2.2 category road race, will take place from January 19 to 23, marking a significant milestone in Indian cycling.
In preparation, the Cycling Federation of India (CFI) will conduct the National Championship cum selection trials in Sambalpur, Odisha, from December 2 to 6. These trials aim to identify the best athletes for the two Indian teams, 'India A' and 'India B', contributing to a national and global display of cycling talent.
The Bajaj Pune Grand Tour, featuring elite international cyclists, aims to secure a permanent spot on the UCI global calendar. The event will feature a four-stage 437-km course through Pune's scenic landscapes, promising fierce competition and world-class sporting experience.
