PV Sindhu, India's badminton icon, lauded the Telangana government's dedication to sports development at the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025. She expressed appreciation for Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's visionary efforts, particularly the upcoming sports hub, emphasizing its potential to boost medal prospects by providing exceptional infrastructure and coaching across disciplines.

Sindhu stressed the necessity of robust grassroots systems, pointing out the vital role of skilled coaches and strength-and-conditioning experts in cultivating future athletes. 'The foundation must be built from the grassroots, with quality education and knowledgeable coaches,' she stated, affirming the government's strategic direction in sports.
