Golden Triumphs at Senior National Wrestling Championship

On Saturday, Olympic bronze medallist Aman Sehrawat and Sujeet achieved gold in the men's freestyle 61kg and 65kg categories at the Senior National Wrestling Championship, securing positions for forthcoming international trials.
In the 57kg category, U23 world champion Chirag was defeated by U20 Worlds medallist Ankush in the semifinals, who then claimed the gold medal. Chirag managed to clinch the bronze.
The Championship Trophy was awarded to RSPB, which amassed 160 points. SSCB was the runner-up with 155 points, and Haryana took third place with 135 points. The Greco-Roman contests are set to commence on Sunday.
