Brendan Rodgers, who previously managed Liverpool and Celtic, has been named head coach of Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah. His appointment underscores the club's ambition to elevate itself among Asia's top teams.

The 52-year-old Northern Irishman brings a wealth of experience from over 300 Premier League matches. His possession-based, attacking style has earned him a strong reputation. At Liverpool, he guided the team to a Premier League runner-up finish in 2014 with a club-record 101 goals.

Rodgers also led Leicester City to their first FA Cup victory in 2021 and claimed 11 major trophies at Celtic. Al-Qadsiah CEO James Bisgrove stated that Rodgers' track record aligns with the club's long-term vision. Sporting Director Carlos Anton welcomed Rodgers, noting he inherits a skilled squad eager for success.
