Luke Mudgway of China's Li Ning Star emerged victorious in the Maratha Heritage Circuit, the second stage of the Bajaj Pune Grand Tour 2026 cycling competition, held on Wednesday. The New Zealander maintained his lead by clocking a time of 02:31:49, conquering the 105.3 km race through Pune's challenging terrain.
With this win, following his stage one success, Mudgway solidified his position atop the general classification leaderboard. As the race intensifies across Maharashtra's demanding landscape, his consistent performance in the back-to-back races strengthens his lead.
Despite the heat and challenging course, Mudgway excelled, expressing satisfaction with executing another sprint victory. Meanwhile, competitors Alan Carter Bettles and Yorben Lauryssen secured second and third places, respectively, indicating the stiff competition.
