The All India Football Federation (AIFF) announced on Monday that FanCode has secured the exclusive global broadcast rights for the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 season. FanCode emerged victorious after a heated bidding process involving six other competitors, marking a significant development for Indian football broadcast accessibility.
Kaleidoscope Production and Services (KPS Studios) will manage the league's production, both globally and domestically. This comes after the AIFF's interim Managing Committee and RFQ committee reviewed multiple bids following their Request for Proposal tender launched on January 18. FanCode, with its offer of Rs 8.62 crore, edged out firms like Two Circles and Sportzworks.
The ISL is set to recommence on February 14, following a four-month pause, in a truncated version featuring 91 matches. FanCode aims to offer a digital-first experience for fans, aligning with its vision of enhancing the sports media landscape. Meanwhile, the league's management faced challenges after the previous organiser, FSDL, ended their agreement with AIFF, leading to a re-evaluation of commercial partnerships.
