Mexico's national football team has finalized its warm-up schedule ahead of the upcoming World Cup, featuring matches against Ghana, Australia, and Serbia. Officials announced Tuesday that these carefully selected opponents are expected to provide crucial preparation for Mexico's ambitious World Cup campaign.

The team will take on Ghana on May 22 at home and face Australia at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on May 30. They will return to host Serbia on June 4, with the venue still to be confirmed. The World Cup journey will officially commence against South Africa on June 11 at the iconic Azteca Stadium in Mexico City.

In addition to these matches, Mexico will play Iceland on February 25 in Querétaro and then challenge Portugal in Mexico City on March 28. Following that, the team will encounter Belgium in Chicago on March 31. Notably, the match against Portugal will coincide with the much-anticipated reopening of Azteca Stadium, closed since May 2024 for renovations.
