Arshdeep Kaur claimed a remarkable victory in the 25m pistol women's event at the National Selection Trials, overtaking a field of accomplished shooters including double Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker.

In an electrifying eight-shooter final, Kaur, who initially qualified in eighth place, managed to outperform the seasoned Divya T.S by a narrow 37-36 margin.

The event, brimming with high-caliber competitors, saw former Asian Games champion Rahi Sarnobat taking third place, while Bhaker, Rhythm Sangwan, and Niveditha V. Nair showcased their shooting prowess in the initial rounds, paving the way for an intense showdown.
