In an impressive display at Robina Stadium on the Gold Coast, Angela Beard and Jaclyn Sawicki propelled the Philippines to a 2-0 victory over Uzbekistan, ensuring their second consecutive World Cup appearance.

North Korea followed suit as Hong Song-Ok's hat-trick and Kim Kyong-yong's goal led to a 4-0 win against Taiwan, marking their return to the World Cup for the first time since 2011. Uzbekistan and Taiwan still have a chance to qualify through the inter-confederation play-offs.
