Mumbai Women's T20 League Kicks Off with Iconic Players

The Mumbai Cricket Association has announced Sayali Satghare, Saima Thakor, and Humaira Kazi as Icon Players for the inaugural T20 Mumbai Women's League. The Mumbai Cricket Association has unveiled the Icon Players for the first-ever T20 Mumbai Women's League, including Sayali Satghare, Saima Thakor, and Humaira Kazi. Sayali, chosen for the SoBo Mumbai Falcons, and Saima, who will feature for the Thane Sky Risers, have both been a part of India's international cricket framework. Humaira, joining the Aakash Tigers, continues to excel in domestic leagues and India A. This selection underscores a robust starting point for the competition.

MCA President Ajinkya Naik emphasized the league's potential to nurture emerging talents and contribute significantly to women's cricket in India. A highly anticipated player auction scheduled for Saturday will finalize team compositions, with 2,411 players, including 363 women, registered for the bidding process.
