AITA's Secretary General Sunder Iyer emphasized the federation's dedication to transparency, inclusivity, and adherence to the National Sports Governance Act, 2025. He outlined plans to implement constitutional amendments for better governance, promising player participation through a newly formed athletes' committee.
The federation outlined strategies to enhance tennis nationwide, including improved training and infrastructure, focusing on junior development, and expanding opportunities in non-urban regions. Iyer underscored the holistic approach aiming to uplift the sport's competitive standards domestically and internationally.
