Madhya Pradesh's Nupur Kumrawat clinched victory in the 50m Rifle Prone Women ISSF event at the 24th Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship, hosted at the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy in Bhopal. With a stellar score of 624.3, Nupur led the women's field, while Army Marksmanship Unit's Priya captured second at 623.9, and Maharashtra's Bhakti Bhaskar Khamkar finished third with 622.2.
In the 50m Rifle Prone Junior Women category, Tamil Nadu's M.A. Akschadha Aiswarya dominated, securing the junior title with a score of 618.2. She continued her impressive streak by also winning the youth event. Punjab's Nimrat Kaur Brar and Madhya Pradesh's Pratha Rathod displayed commendable performances, earning silver and bronze medals, respectively, in both the junior and youth divisions.
The 50m Rifle Prone Women Team event saw Punjab's team, comprising Anjum Moudgil, Nimrat Kaur Brar, and Sift Kaur Samra, secure the top spot. In the Master Women category, Maharashtra's Tejaswani Sawant emerged victorious. These achievements highlight the exceptional skill and determination exhibited by competitors at the championship, setting a new standard in shooting excellence.
