India secured a triumphant performance at the Asian Boxing U15 Championships, amassing a total of 27 medals including an impressive 9 golds. This outstanding achievement puts India at the pinnacle, especially in the U-15 girls' category where they topped the standings with 7 gold medals.
The girls delivered stellar performances with notable victories from Anzee in the 37kg category and Angel in the 70kg category. Meanwhile, Akshita and Tannvi showcased determination, settling for silver against formidable opponents from Uzbekistan.
In the boys' section, Yash Kumar and Mohd Yasser stood out, clinching gold medals and further boosting India's medal tally. The event highlighted India's rising talent in boxing at the youth level.
