Adani Sportsline Appoints Simon Helmot as Gulf Giants Head Coach for ILT20

Adani Sportsline has named seasoned Australian cricket coach Simon Helmot as the new Head Coach of Gulf Giants for the upcoming International League T20 season. With over 20 years of experience, Helmot is known for his success in various T20 leagues and his ability to foster high-performance teams.

Adani Sportsline has appointed veteran Australian cricket strategist Simon Helmot as the Head Coach of Gulf Giants in anticipation of the International League T20 (ILT20) season scheduled later this year. Helmot boasts over two decades of experience across domestic, international, and franchise cricket, having played a pivotal role in successful campaigns in leading T20 leagues worldwide.

Helmot is renowned for cultivating high-performance team environments and enhancing player potential under pressure. Before this role, he guided Melbourne Renegades to their inaugural Women's Big Bash League title in 2024. His extensive experience includes a long-standing association with the Hyderabad side in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since 2013.

As part of his onboarding, Helmot met with Pranav Adani, Director of Adani Enterprises Limited, in Ahmedabad to discuss Gulf Giants' long-term vision and preparations for the ILT20 season. Both Adani and Helmot expressed enthusiasm about the new collaboration, aiming to build on the franchise's promising journey in the competitive UAE ILT20 league.
