Chennai-based SKASports Investments Pvt Ltd has entered into an agreement with a Singaporean club to amplify the sports ecosystem in the region, capitalizing on a wealth of football talent in India. Established by football industry leaders Rohit Ramesh and Sudhir Menon in 2023, SKASports is making strides in exploring new sports markets across Asia.
The collaboration is with NSG Global Ptd Ltd, the parent entity of Football Club Jurong in Singapore. Sudhir Menon articulated SKASports’ mission to forge significant partnerships by melding investment, football acumen, media reach, and strategic commercial insights to unearth growth prospects for clubs and related enterprises in Asia.
The venture between India and Singapore reignites hope for Indian footballers and coaches alike, Ramesh stated. SKASports' prior investments include Sportscast India and Angkor Tiger FC, with a keen eye on stadium development and fostering football tourism between India and Cambodia, Menon confirmed.
