Budding all-rounder Harsh Dubey aspires to establish his distinct presence in Indian cricket, beyond being considered a successor to any senior player. The 23-year-old, renowned for his prowess as a left-arm spinner and left-handed batter, has earned his inaugural call-up for the upcoming single Test and three ODIs against Afghanistan.
Selection panel chief Ajit Agarkar noted Dubey's promising potential, stressing that Ravindra Jadeja has been rested and not replaced. Dubey expressed his determination to focus on personal growth and delivering his best performance, saying, "I am not looking to replace anyone. I worked hard for this opportunity."
