Ousmane Dembélé, playing for Paris Saint-Germain, has confidently declared himself ready for the Champions League showdown with Arsenal on Saturday, dismissing any residual injury concerns. The player, who recently faced a calf issue, stated he is "100% ready and raring to go."
Dembélé, who secured the Ballon d'Or title, became a focal point of concern after exiting a match against Paris FC with an injury. Reassuring fans and the team, he returned to training this week, reinforcing hopes he will take the field in Budapest. He admitted to being cautious during the Paris FC game, stopping play immediately upon feeling discomfort.
The team's coach, Luis Enrique, is yet to provide an update on Achraf Hakimi's status, who has also been nursing an injury. While Hakimi hasn't played since a match against Bayern Munich, he has been training recently and was chosen for Morocco's World Cup squad. Dembélé acknowledged the challenging season for PSG, attributing it partly to a shortened offseason following their Club World Cup final appearance last summer.
