The Indian women's hockey team achieved a solid 3-1 triumph over Korea during their second Pool A match in the U18 Asia Cup on Sunday. Building on their prior success against Malaysia, the team demonstrated strong performance and tactical discipline.
Nousheen Naz initiated the lead in the fourth minute through a penalty stroke, while Shruti Kumari extended the advantage with a field goal in the 21st minute. Despite a third-quarter goal by Korea's Gyeongmin Ryu, India maintained control as Kiran Ekka scored via a penalty corner shortly after, securing their win and placing them at the top of the Pool A standings.
