Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar has showered praise on teenage prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, describing him as an exceptional talent. Tendulkar emphasized the importance of allowing Sooryavanshi's natural instincts to flourish and urged coaches and mentors not to interfere with his playing style as he progresses in his career.

Sooryavanshi, who became the youngest player to score a century in the IPL last year, further enhanced his reputation this season with a bold display against top-tier bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Pat Cummins. At just 15, the cricketer from Bihar accumulated 776 runs at a stunning strike rate, marking himself as a promising prospect.

Speaking at the Cricinfo Honours, Tendulkar remarked, "Everyone is talking about Sooryavanshi. His wrist work and ability to pick the bowler's line and length are truly remarkable." While Tendulkar is hopeful about Sooryavanshi's potential for Test cricket, he cautioned against placing excessive demands on him too soon.

Tendulkar advised that fostering the young player's instinctual approach would be pivotal for his growth, stressing the need to shield Sooryavanshi from undue pressure. "Allow him the freedom to play his way," Tendulkar suggested, pointing out that with time, the youngster will naturally learn to navigate the game's challenges.
