Indian Duo Triumphs at Singapore Badminton Open

The Indian badminton pair, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, made history by clinching the men's doubles title at the KFF Singapore Badminton Open 2026. Their success was acknowledged by Andhra Pradesh leader Chandrababu Naidu, who praised their exceptional achievement and its impact on Indian sports.

The Indian badminton duo, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, secured their place in history by winning the men’s doubles title at the KFF Singapore Badminton Open 2026. They defeated Indonesian pair Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri with a score of 18–21, 21–17, 21–16 in a closely contested 73-minute final.

Chandrababu Naidu extended his congratulations to the pair, lauding their victory as a landmark achievement. He emphasized the duo's dedication and excellence, noting that their win would serve as inspiration for aspiring athletes across India. Rankireddy and Shetty's triumph marks them as the first Indian pair to capture this title, following a series of near victories since their last win at the Thailand Open in 2024.
