San Francisco Giants outfielder Cameron Maybin was arrested last week on suspicion of DUI in Scottsdale, Ariz., police confirmed Tuesday. "We are aware and are monitoring the situation and we have no further comment at this time," the team said in a statement to NBC Sports Bay Area.

Maybin, 31, was arrested early Friday morning. He did not play in Friday night's spring training game against the Texas Rangers but was back in the lineup on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Maybin joined the Giants on Feb. 18 when he signed as a minor league free agent.

The 12-year major league veteran split the 2018 season with Miami and Seattle, batting a combined .249 with four homers, 28 RBIs and 10 stolen bases in 129 games. He has appeared in 1,039 games with seven different teams, batting .254 with 60 homers, 315 RBIs and 174 steals.
