England women's international Toni Duggan is to leave Barcelona after two years with the club, she said on Friday, without revealing where she would play next. "After two fantastic years, it is the right time to say goodbye to my FC Barcelona family. It has been an incredible experience but the time is right for a new challenge," she said in a post on Twitter.
Duggan won the Spanish Cup in her debut season with Barcelona and last campaign helped the team reach the Women's Champions League final for the first time, where they were beaten by Olympique Lyonnais. She made three appearances for England in their run to the semi-finals of the Women's World Cup, where they were beaten 2-1 by the United States.
