Wegner named crew chief for All-Star Game

Veteran Mark Wegner has been named crew chief and will serve as home plate umpire for Tuesday's All-Star Game in Cleveland. Wegner, a 21-year umpire, will be working his second All-Star Game. He also has worked two World Series and five league championship series in his career.

The rest of the umpire crew consists of Brian O'Nora (first base), Phil Cuzzi (second base), Tim Timmons (third base), D.J. Reyburn (left field) and Jordan Baker (right field). Fieldin Culbreth will be the replay official. Also, American League manager Alex Cora of the Boston Red Sox added Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona to his staff.

National League manager Dave Roberts of the Los Angeles Dodgers added Atlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker to his coaching crew.
