Rockies All-Star Dahl leaves game with foot contusion

Colorado Rockies All-Star outfielder David Dahl is considered day-to-day after he left Wednesday's game against the San Francisco Giants with a left foot contusion. Dahl fouled a ball off his foot in the bottom of the first inning. He finished the at-bat, drawing a walk from Shaun Anderson, and he stayed in to play defense in the second inning before manager Bud Black replaced him with Garrett Hampson to start the third.

Dahl, 25, is enjoying a breakout season, hitting .303 with 13 home runs and 54 RBIs in 86 games. --Field Level Media
