Forward Oskar Sundqvist, who posted a career-high 31 points for the Stanley Cup-winning St. Louis Blues last season, agreed to a four-year deal worth $11 million on Sunday. Sundqvist, a restricted free agent, avoided a salary arbitration hearing scheduled for Wednesday.

The 25-year-old Swede scored 14 goals and had 17 assists in 74 regular-season games, and then had nine points (four goals, five assists) in 25 playoff outings. The Blues defeated the Boston Bruins in seven games in the Stanley Cup Final. Sundqvist, selected in the third round of the 2012 draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins, has 40 career points (16 goals, 24 assists) in 144 NHL games.
