Chargers activate LB Brown from PUP list

The Los Angeles Chargers activated linebacker Jatavis Brown from the physically unable to perform list Tuesday. Brown, 25, injured his right ankle during the 2018 regular-season finale at Denver and missed both of the Chargers' playoff games. He was sidelined throughout the offseason program.

Brown started 10 of his 15 games in 2018 and finished second on the team with a career-high 97 tackles. The Chargers' fifth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft out of Akron, Brown has 255 tackles, 4.5 sacks and three forced fumbles in 43 career games.
