Glenn Middleton of the Rangers Football Club has moved to the Hibernian Football Club on loan, according to the post made by Hibernian FC on its verified Twitter account. The club announced that they are pleased to confirm the season-long loan signing of Glenn Middleton. He will wear number 19 for the Hibs. Glenn had alternative offers from within Britain and further afield but was determined to complete a move to Easter Road.

"The 19-year-old will already be a familiar face to supporters after impressing for parent club Rangers in his breakthrough season last term, with five goals and give assists to his name – including a strike in the Europa League," the club based in the Leith area of Edinburgh said in a statement.

A versatile attacking talent, he has featured for Scotland at every age group up to and including the Under-21s alongside the likes of Fraser Murray, Oli Shaw, Ryan Porteous, and Stevie Mallan.

Head Coach Paul Heckingbottom said: “I think our supporters will enjoy watching Glenn play. He is direct, quick and will add different qualities to the squad. From our conversations, he’s clearly desperate to play for this club.”

Glenn added: “I’m really pleased to have got everything sorted and I just can’t wait to get started. I know I’ll need to work hard to make a good impression and that Paul has a lot of good players to choose from, but I’d love to be involved on Saturday against Greenock Morton.”
