Asia's largest motor show - 14th Edition Auto Expo 2018

We are just a couple of days away from the 14th edition of Asia's largest motor show - Auto Expo 2018 and all the auto giants are ready for the biennial event. We will see 20 leading OEMs showcasing over 100 products. This time SIAM has extended the show to an additional day considering the crowds that poured in during its 2016 edition. The motor show will open gates for the public on 9th February and it will finally conclude on 14th February. Before that, 7th and 8th February are the media days.

The Auto Expo held in India finds its place among the top 7 motor shows, globally. The motor show witnesses most of the players of the automotive industry from about 30 nations including China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, South Africa, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States of America, etc. 32 brands are not participating in Auto Expo 2018 including some big players like Nissan, Volkswagen Harley Davidson and more. But this doesn't mean that 2018 Auto Expo will be boring by any chance. This event will see multiple companies like KIA Motors, entering to India and this time, electric vehicles are going to be in focus.

As the world is taking a shift towards electric mobility, we can expect over 50 new electric vehicles to be on display to allure the visitors. As already mentioned, we will witness over 100 new vehicle previews, all thanks to 37 manufacturers that will take part in the main motor show affair. On the other hand, over 1,200 exhibitors from 20 countries will participate in the components shown.

This year's Expo promises something for everyone - from hardcore auto enthusiasts to serious car buyers. This is the event where attendees get a chance to get up close and personal with new and upcoming cars, bikes, scooters, trucks, buses, electric vehicles (EVs) and radical concepts that offer a peek into the future.
