World's first foldable phone arrives, Chinese firm Royole releases FlexPai
Royole, a Chinese company, releases the FlexPai, combining a phone, tablet, and computer in one device. It claims to have invented the world's first foldable screen.

On the other hand, Samsung Electronics Co. is reported to work on overhauling its line-up of premium phones for next year, preparing to launch its first 5G-capable smartphone, a cheaper flagship model, and a foldable-screen device to challenge Apple and stay ahead of Chinese rivals.
