Google has introduced analytics in Google Classroom to provide a centralized view of data and insights for educators and education leaders, helping them make more informed decisions.

With the new feature, designated education leaders and support staff can now have direct visibility into student performance and engagement in the classroom - if assignments are being completed, how grades are trending, and how Classroom features are being adopted, among others.

Classroom analytics provides education leaders with a bird's eye view of insights and also allows them to easily drill down further to identify which students, classes, and schools may need support.

"This feature provides relevant insights that are immediately actionable, so education leaders and educators can make informed decisions around how to best support student success," Google wrote in a post.

Once enabled by their Super Admins, designated education leaders can access data on the entire organization or limited to specific organizational units. Educators will automatically be able to see class-level analytics for their classes.

Google Classroom analytics is gradually rolling out to both Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains and may take up to 15 days to be fully visible. You need a Google Workspace for Education Plus license to access this feature.
