Samsung to showcase its newest AI-powered kitchen products at CES 2024

Samsung Electronics will showcase its newest kitchen products, applications and features, powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and SmartThings connectivity, at the upcoming CES 2024 tech fair. These include the 2024 Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with AI Family Hub+ with the all-new AI Vision Inside feature, the new Anyplace Induction Cooktop and more.

The 2024 Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with AI Family Hub+ features an array of innovative technologies such as AI Vision Inside, an innovative feature that uses a smart internal camera to recognize items being placed in and out of the refrigerator. The new Vision AI technology can identify up to 33 different fresh food items based on a predefined set of training data comprising approximately one million food photographs.

In addition, the Fridge Manager feature monitors the status of the water filter in the refrigerator and alerts when a replacement is needed.

Samsung's new Anyplace Induction Cooktop and Slide-in Range boast a 7-inch LCD screen, allowing users to view the recipes that were selected and saved from the Family Hub+. The new Anyplace Induction comes with enhanced cooking features such as efficient and borderless heating of pots and pans on any part of the cooktop.

Further, the Samsung Food application, accessible on the Family Hub+, Anyplace Induction Cooktop, and Slide-in Range, now features upgraded AI capabilities. Furthermore, the app seamlessly integrates with Samsung Health, leveraging health data to suggest healthy and suitable recipes. Users can easily send cooking instructions to their kitchen appliances with a few simple clicks.

Next up, there is a feature called Tap View, which allows Galaxy smartphone users to mirror the display onto the Family Hub+ screen. In addition, the refrigerator screen supports applications such as YouTube and TikTok, providing users with both information and entertainment.
