Nokia launches dedicated business to deliver innovative technologies to U.S govt

Nokia has launched a dedicated "Nokia Federal Solutions" business focused on delivering secure and innovative technologies to the U.S. federal government, the Finnish firm announced on Monday.
More specifically, by harnessing Nokia's extensive global expertise and industry-leading technology portfolio including IP Routing, Optical Networking, Microwave, 5G, Private Wireless and Tactical Private Wireless, NFS will create solutions to help address the critical needs of U.S. federal agencies across diverse missions.
"The launch of Nokia Federal Solutions is an important step in the development of our defense business and highlights our ongoing commitment to the U.S. market. I look forward to seeing our high-performance and reliable communications solutions support the U.S. government and U.S. federal agencies to help them achieve their goals," said Tommi Uitto, President of Mobile Networks at Nokia.
The newly-established entity brings together a team of seasoned professionals with expertise in commercial communications technology and an in-depth understanding of the unique requirements of the U.S. government.
