US confirms death of employee of US embassy in Jerusalem

The United States on Monday confirmed the death of a direct hire employee of the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, adding that the incident is under investigation but that there were no indications of foul play in the death of the American citizen.

State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller declined to provide further details due to privacy considerations.
