Samsung launches Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K and OLED TVs in India

Samsung on Wednesday introduced the 2024 line-up of its ultra-premium Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K and OLED TVs in India, with prices starting at Rs 3,19,990 for the Neo QLED 8K, Rs 1,39,990 for the Neo QLED 4K and Rs 1,64,990 for the OLED range.

Samsung's Neo QLED 8K features the advanced NQ8 AI Gen3 processor with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that delivers twice the speed of its predecessor, along with an eight-fold increase in neural networks from 64 to 512.

The Neo QLED 8K comes with several AI features including AI Picture Technology for outstanding clarity and naturalness, AI Upscaling Pro that transforms content to closely match the 8K display. For motion-intense content such as sports, the Neo QLED 8K has a feature called AI Motion Enhancer Pro that utilizes a sophisticated motion detection algorithm to enhance clarity.

Sound-specific AI features include AI Sound Technology, Object Tracking Sound Pro and Adaptive Sound Pro. For gaming, this new range features AI Auto Game Mode that recognizes both the game and the genre and automatically tailors the picture quality and sound quality settings.

Samsung's Neo QLED 8K has two models, QN900D and QN800D, and is available in 65, 75, and 85-inch sizes.

Next up, Samsung's Neo QLED 4K lineup is powered by the NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor and features the world’s first Pantone Validated display for colour accuracy and Dolby Atmos for an immersive audio experience. It is available in two models, QN85D and QN90D, and in sizes of 55, 65, 75, 85 and 98 inches.

The 2024 OLED lineup is powered by the NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor which also powers the Neo QLED 4K lineup. Samsung's OLED range is the ultimate choice for gaming and is available in two models - S95D and S90D - in three sizes - 55, 65, 77 and 83-inch.
