Apple Faces Ongoing EU Antitrust Scrutiny Amidst Criticism of Business Practices

Apple has come under continued EU antitrust scrutiny for not complying with tech regulations, as noted by EU antitrust chief Margrethe Vestager. Despite initial findings, Apple has not altered its business practices. Meanwhile, Microsoft's deal with cloud services organisation CISPE to avert an EU investigation is viewed as a promising resolution.

Apple remains under the EU antitrust scanner for allegedly not adhering to tech regulations, as highlighted by EU antitrust chief Margrethe Vestager on Thursday.

'What I can say so far is that we have not seen a change in behaviour on Apple's side when it comes to our preliminary findings,' Vestager stated during a press conference.

Conversely, Vestager praised Microsoft's recent agreement with cloud services entity CISPE to resolve an antitrust issue, describing it as a 'promising outcome'.
