Unicommerce Reports Significant Mid-Year Sales Growth in 2024
Unicommerce, a SaaS platform, experienced a 16% rise in client order volumes during mid-year online sales compared to 2023. The platform also saw a 19% increase in gross merchandise value. The health and pharma segment grew 78%, while electronics and home appliances saw a 24% rise in average order value.
IPO-bound SaaS platform Unicommerce has recorded a 16 per cent jump in clients' order volumes processed through its platform during mid-year online sales on a year-on-year basis, the company said on Monday. The company noted that this volume growth was accompanied by an upward trend in gross merchandise value, which grew 19 per cent year-on-year in 2024 compared to 2023.
According to Unicommerce's analysis, customers capitalized on mid-year sales offers from multiple marketplaces, reflecting a 16 per cent growth in order volumes during the week-long sale period from July 19-25, 2024. This increase relates to the same period of the previous year's mid-year sales.
Unicommerce offers a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for end-to-end management of e-commerce operations for direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands, brand aggregators, traditionally offline brands, marketplaces, logistics players, and small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) through a comprehensive suite of SaaS products.
