River Mobility's Ambitious Expansion: 100 EV Showrooms by 2026

River Mobility Pvt Ltd, an electric vehicle startup based in Bengaluru, plans to open 100 showrooms by March 2026. The company inaugurated its first Chennai store and aims to broaden its footprint across multiple Indian cities, driven by investments from key players like Yamaha and Toyota Ventures.

River Mobility Pvt Ltd, based in Bengaluru, has unveiled plans to open 100 showrooms by March 2026, supported by investors such as Yamaha Motor Corp and Mitsui & Company Ltd, a top official revealed.

The company recently inaugurated its first outlet in Chennai and plans to establish 15 more stores by November and 50 by March 2025, said CEO and Co-Founder Aravind Mani.

Highlighting the significance of the Chennai market, Mani noted its substantial EV potential and revealed that the first Chennai store is company-owned and operated. The company aims to open more Chennai outlets and a second Tamil Nadu store in Coimbatore within the next year.
