Andhra Pradesh Aims for Top Spot as Start-Up Hub
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to develop a plan to transform the state into a start-up hub. Reviewing the IT, Electronics, and Communications Departments, he emphasized the need to attract IT companies to the state and proposed the establishment of drone tech parks and a dedicated cyber security department.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday directed state officials to develop a comprehensive plan aimed at making the state a prominent start-up hub.
Amid a review session of the IT, Electronics, and Communications Departments at the secretariat, Naidu expressed his vision for catapulting Andhra Pradesh to be the leading state in these sectors across the nation.
"There is a need to transform Andhra Pradesh into a startup hub… measures should be initiated to make the state number one for IT and electronics," he noted in an official press release.
With several IT firms establishing offices in tier-two cities, the Chief Minister urged officials to attract these companies to Andhra Pradesh.
Additionally, he instructed the search for suitable locations to develop drone technology and testing parks, and to create an app for residents to access various services.
Naidu also highlighted the significance of setting up a dedicated cyber security department among other innovative proposals.
