Telecom giant Bharti Airtel announced on Wednesday that it has deployed additional spectrum across all 50 districts in Rajasthan, enhancing its 5G/4G network capacities to improve voice and data connectivity for subscribers across the state.
The move aims to expand Airtel's coverage along highways and rail routes, thereby increasing its footprint in rural areas in response to the growing demand for reliable connectivity. The company recently acquired this additional spectrum in July 2024 and has now completed its deployment.
'With the integration of this new spectrum, Airtel's 5G/4G network capacities will see a significant boost, leading to enhanced data speeds and better coverage inside homes and buildings in both urban and rural settings,' the company's release stated. CEO of Airtel Rajasthan, Marut Dilawari, added that customers can expect improved call connectivity and faster data speeds.
