Major US and European airlines are turning to Air India for insights into developing generative AI chatbots, inspired by the Indian carrier’s AI.g. This innovative chatbot manages about 97% of customer inquiries autonomously.
Air India, under the Tata Group's ownership, is also on track to file for its first patent for a 'one click booking' feature, set to launch on its website and app by December.
Chief Digital & Technology Officer Satya Ramaswamy emphasized the company's commitment to innovation, positioning Air India as a front-runner in aviation technology. Further patent applications are underway as the airline integrates AI across its operations amid major mergers set for November.
