Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy officially inaugurated Microsoft's new campus in Hyderabad on Thursday, marking a significant milestone in the company's 25-year journey in the city.

The new state-of-the-art, 1.1 million sq ft facility caters to 2,500 additional employees and is located in Gachibowli, Hyderabad’s bustling IT hub. With an eye on the future, Microsoft aims to increase its workforce by an additional 4,800 employees.

In collaboration with the Telangana government, Microsoft announced an extensive AI training initiative targeting over 1.2 lakh people in the state. This includes the establishment of an AI Foundations Academy and the AI-Industry Pro program, alongside a new AI Centre of Excellence.
