In a significant move to bolster digital security, the Delhi Police has unveiled a new Cyber Safety Kiosk at its headquarters.

Inaugurated by Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora, the kiosk promises to shield personnel and visitors from the growing menace of cyber threats by scanning devices for malicious software.

Developed by the National Forensic Sciences University in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, the kiosk is equipped to identify and neutralize malware, banned applications, and unauthorized software on mobile phones and storage devices. It generates detailed reports, provides an administrative monitoring dashboard, and is designed to run on a server-client model for advanced malware research.
