Nayara Energy, recently impacted by European Union sanctions, has opted for domestic IT services with Rediff.com following Microsoft's service suspension, sources reveal.
The company, 49% backed by Russian firm Rosneft, faced major communication disruptions, with email and messaging services ceasing to function. This follows EU sanctions targeting Russian oil imports amid the Ukraine conflict.
Nayara filed a lawsuit against Microsoft in Delhi High Court. Although Rediff offers interim communication solutions, it lacks access to Microsoft's cloud-stored data, sources disclosed under anonymity agreements.
