The Indian Army has announced the induction of a new mechanical minefield marking equipment, designed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), to enhance its operational capabilities.

In an online post, the Army shared that the equipment, manufactured by BEM Ltd, represents a significant stride towards self-reliance and indigenous innovation.

The Mechanical Minefield Marking Equipment Mk-II is set to bolster combat effectiveness for the Corps of Engineers, reinforcing the Army's combat readiness and tactical proficiency.
