A groundbreaking Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ready data centre by Equinix India has been officially launched at Siruseri's SIPCOT complex, with an outlay of Rs 574 crore. In a significant push towards digital transformation, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin conducted the inauguration ceremony.
The centre's opening is poised to fuel Tamil Nadu's burgeoning digital presence, marking its rise as a pivotal tech hub in India. With a highly reliable 99.99% uptime, the state-of-the-art facility integrates advanced interconnection services like Equinix Fabric for optimized hybrid multi-cloud solutions.
Reinforcing societal growth, Equinix India, led by Managing Director Manoj Paul, donated Rs 9 crore from its CSR fund to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund. As Chennai advances in technology and AI investment, it strengthens India's global digital competitiveness.
