Globe Teleservices Pte. Ltd. (GTS) has announced a strategic collaboration with Maxis Berhad, a top mobile communications provider, to implement an AI-powered firewall for messaging and voice services across the Maxis network in Malaysia.
The partnership aims to enhance security by defining and enforcing firewall policies for international messaging and voice traffic. The AI-enabled Armour firewall, developed by GTS, utilizes advanced machine learning to perform fraud mitigation and 24/7 monitoring, effectively blocking spam and fraudulent operations like SIM farms.
Maxis and GTS's collaboration is also in line with Malaysia's focus on cybersecurity and AI development, as highlighted in the 13th Malaysia Plan, reinforcing a safer and more innovative digital ecosystem.
