Neptunus Power Plant Services Pvt Ltd announced a significant partnership with the Indian Register of Shipping on Friday, aimed at advancing marine engine condition-monitoring technology, a crucial step under India's 'Make in India' campaign.
This strategic collaboration will see the integration of data-driven maintenance and digital diagnostics across India's maritime sector, marking a milestone in marine innovation through Indian research and manufacturing.
The agreement, sealed at Maritime India Week 2025, includes Type Approval Certification for Neptunus's VIB 360 system, the first IRS-certified condition-monitoring technologies for marine diesel engines entirely developed in India, promising to lower maintenance costs and emissions significantly.
