Whirlpool Challenges Competitors Over Alleged Patent Infringement
Whirlpool has filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission to block imports of South Korean and Chinese microwaves, accusing Samsung, LG, Midea, and Haier of infringing on its patented microwave technology. The complaint aims to protect Whirlpool's key market for low-profile microwave-hood combination products.
Whirlpool has taken legal action to safeguard its innovative microwave technology, filing a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission.
The Benton Harbor, Michigan-based company is seeking to block imports of microwaves from South Korean and Chinese manufacturers, including Samsung, LG, Midea, and Haier, alleging patent infringement.
