Maverick Investments Limited, part of the UAE-based Siraj Holdings Group, and Henox IT and Data Centers have announced the first phase of Project Horizon, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at establishing a 100 MW green data center in Tamil Nadu. The project is expected to include a cable landing station and renewable energy facility.

The project has received an initial equity infusion of Rs. 200 crore from Siraj Holdings. It aims to mobilize up to Rs. 50,000 crore through phased investments involving partner capital and institutional contributions. Tamil Nadu's robust subsea landing ecosystem and power infrastructure make it an ideal location.

Khadeer Peer Shariff, Chairman of Maverick Investments, emphasizes a disciplined investment approach. The project, led by Shaktivel K, CEO of Henox IT, focuses on AI-ready infrastructure and renewable energy integration. Detailed job and sustainability assessments are forthcoming, pending regulatory approvals.
